| Brilliant play, worth going to see. Beautifully written, very poetic with strong universal narrative. Disturbing, thought provoking and engaging. Cast is strong. Would like to see this in a bigger theatre. - Anne Casey (5 STARS) | 13 April | |
A wonderful play with strong performances by all. The character Mikey (played by Russell Simpson) was particularly strong and brilliantly acted. - Mandy Thompson (5 STARS) | 12 Apr 10 | |
| Amazing show! Very powerful and moving. I would highly recommend the show it is much better than most of the trash in the West-End. - Joe Ralph (5 STARS) | 11 Apr 10 | |
What a fantastic piece of theatre. I went with my Irish husband and the two of us were truly blown away by this unrelenting piece about a gang of disenchanted Northern Irish lads struggling to make sense of the world post adolescence. This fantastic, powerful young cast really force you to sit up and take notice. It's set inside a smoky bar and it feels so claustrophobic I found myself squirming in my seat as the plot unfolds. The twists and turns are a credit to some searing writing and executed excrutiatingly and painfully well.It would be so easy to over play these roles to the point of farce but the understated malice bubbling under the surface serves to make you feel uncomfortable, unsettled and totally engaged. This deserves a much bigger audience. A very hearty congratulations to all involved. - Sophie Lacey (5 STARS) |
